Abstract

Information and Communication Technology (ICT) is the most essential thing that has changed how higher education around the world teaches and learns. As academic environments evolve, the judicious application of digital tools has proven crucial in enhancing educational quality, increasing accessibility, and fostering greater student engagement. This article talks about the different ways that ICT can be employed, with a focus on Learning Management Systems (LMS), virtual labs, and mobile learning environments, which are all technologies that change the game. These technologies make it possible for people to work together and develop tailored learning routes that fit different ways of thinking. The study also examines the impact of ICT on remote learning and faculty professional development.and on student motivation and involvement.

This article discusses big difficulties that need to be fixed, like not having enough infrastructure, not knowing how to use technology, and the moral dilemmas that come up with artificial intelligence. It highlights how ICT may be used to reduce educational disparities and give the future generation of global scholars more authority.
